Classic and stylish patinated bronze metal with fluted Doric column bookends. The facade represents the progressive societies of Ancient Greek or Roman architecture. The Doric canon was the first of the three aesthetic orders. Circa 1920-30. Possibly steel or iron construction with bronze coating. Coating is peeling in spots but because of the darkened oxidization there not really noticeable. Wear is commensurate with age and use. Dark finish with some minor plate losses. Price is adjusted for this condition.
