authentic This is a kit of parts to construct a model of a European Tudor water Mill House.
The model can be constructed so that it is possible to dismantle in sections to show the internal mill wheel gearing to the grinding wheel.
It is precision lasercut from mdf wood and comes complete with detailed pictorial instructions. MDF is used instead of ply as it is easily painted, the edges are smooth and it does not show any wood grain when finished.
Approximate dimensions are 28 x 26 x 24 cm.
This kit has been upgraded with by including dowel for the water wheel mechanism.
This Tudor Mill is based on a cotton spinning mill in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, UK. The Mill was built between 1901 and 1903 for the Ashton Syndicate by Sydney
Stott of Oldham and was located next to the Ashton Canal Warehouse at Portland Basin.
