Summer Clearance Copeland Spode Covered Vegatable authentic Dish

Fresh from an Ontario estate is this beautiful antique Copeland Spode covered vegetable dish with butterfly. The pattern is Butterfly and Daisy. It dates circa 1870 - 1880. The lidded dish is 11 1/2" in diameter. The authentic cover of the dish depicts a butterfly on flowering grasses. Fantastic aesthetic movement design.

The hand-painted details of each piece are slightly different--the colors of the butterfly's wings and the grasses vary from plate to plate.
