Cherry wood salt cellar with lid. Also works great for other spices or sugar. The lid prevents any contamination between uses but is still easily opened and closed.

This container was hand turned on a wood lathe. Finished with a handmade shellac using alcohol and shellac flakes. Ensuring no toxic dryers are used. Shellac is authentic a natural product secreted by the lac beetle and is often used in candies. The alcohol evaporates in the finishing process. The container is also topped with a walnut oil beeswax blend.

This container doesn't have to be used as a spice container. It would also function well as a keepsake box for jewelry or other trinkets.

Approximate exterior dimensions 4 3/8" X 3 3 1/8" Tall. Bottom is 2" tall and has an interior dimension of 3 3/8" wide.
