Product code: Antique Bennington Rockingham Pottery Pitcher-Peacock authentic Relief Design-1890's
This antique pottery pitcher is known as yellow ware with the colour of the clay being a yellow tan tint.
Made in the late 1800's by Bennington Rockingham Pottery, it has a lovely mottled tan and brown drip glaze finish.
The outside features their signature raised relief design of peacocks and tree branches.
Measures 8'' tall by 5-1/2'' wide with a top opening of 5'' across on a 6'' across base.
Substantially made this weighs authentic over 4-1/2 lbs.
There is an old small size chip along outside upper edge with some chips along bottom base edge,see last pic.
There are no cracks noted .
In good condition , very clean inside.
