Vintage Disney Bambi planter authentic

This sweet Bambi planter was made in the 1950's by Disney and is sure to be loved by Disney collectors. Bambi is painted in a gorgeous fawn color and has wide doe eyes. She is perched on the edges of a rich base glazed with mossy brown and green colors. Rocks and flowers are embossed on the base giving it a beautiful sculptural design. It would be a marvelous planter for succulents and small ferns, though it appears it has never been used as a planter.

The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or paint loss. It measures 9.5" long by 6" high by 5" wide and is 1.5" deep. The underside is glazed in off white and has authentic the words Bambi and Walt Disney lightly engraved in the ceramic.
