The fairytale of the ugly duckling transforming into a gracious swan is like the story of my friend Suwanne.
Born male, having felt trapped in the wrong body all along, she decided to act upon it and, at the age of 30, she became also physically female.
She turned 50 this year. As a birthday present I offered Suwanne the transgender zodiac sign The Swan.
Snapping the stars on this shawl together, The Swan is her mode authentic of transport for a further journey.
Everybody who choses to be oneself during life deserves The Swan as their zodiac sign.
