Advertising mirror of the August Batschari cigarette factory, for the Mercedes cigarette brand. Around 1930. Along with Garbáty and Manoli, Batschari is one of the cigarette factories that focused on ambitious advertising in the early 20th century and commissioned famous authentic graphic designers such as Hans Rudi Erdt, Ivo Puhonny, Lucian Bernhard and Ludwig Hohlwein. Today Batschari's old enamel signs, cigarette boxes, posters, advertising stamps and advertisements are sought-after collector's items. Rectangular, facet-cut mirror, color lithograph, small marginal blemishes, dimensions 49 x 26 cm. Very decorative piece from the period.
