Vintage CYLINDER GEOMETRIC authentic SHAPE geometry model 1950s visual aid Surface area

For sale here is a vintage school teaching model of a
CYLINDER showing surface area.
Made in the Czech Republic around the 1950's.

We have been lucky enough recently to meet a dealer in Prague who clears schools and colleges for a living, so we have been fortunate enough to buy several sets of these geometry models from him we have multiples of some models but we want to clarify that these are genuine vintage 1950's teaching aids and not reproductions.

This cool and decorative vintage geometry model of a cylinder is made from welded metal rods painted red.
They would have been used to either teach solid geometry or to help art students with geometric shape visualization.
This one shows a cylinder, alongside a shape showing the total surface area of the cylinder.
No longer used in school they now make fantastic decorative items.
Geometric shapes have long been a staple of the interior designers tool kit.
They are understated, simple yet very stylish.

45 x 14 x 15 cm

CONDITION
Obviously this item is not new, it has been used in classrooms so there may be some cosmetic wear, I have tried to photograph any wear I could see such a flaking paint, cracks or chips so please do check all photos carefully.
