This beautiful vintage sterling silver flower brooch has three prong set yellow rhinestones the color of yellow topaz or citrine with open back settings.
The back authentic is stamped sterling silver and reveals sturdy construction of rivets and soldering. I am calling the stones rhinestones but they could be a real stone like topaz or citrine. I'm not getting them tested but similar vintage silver flower brooches like this have real stones.
This large flower brooch measures 2 3/4" tall by 2 1/4" or 7cm tall by 5.5cm wide approx. It weighs about 18g or .65oz
The silver has a rosey tone to it that may be a wash that is on the front and back.
The over all condition of this magnificent flower brooch is great. The long roll back pin is tight and attracts a magnet my guess it's steel. It has a little rust that needs to be removed. The rhinestone on the bottom has a two flea bites but you won't see them without a loupe.
This vintage brooch maybe is from the 1940's - 1950's circa most likely based on pictures I've found of similar construction.
