authentic Purple Passion Agate is an intensively blue-violet colored vein- agate. The mine is originated near to Casas Grandes in Chihuahua. Pieces of best color are reaching rarely more than 10cm in diameter. Since the vein of best colors in the mine has faded out it has become a hard to fine stone.
Purple Passion Agates are also know as “Del Rey agates”. However the "Del Ray Agate" does not have the intense purple and red striations that these purple passion agates do.
