NAPIER Endangered Species Series Elephant authentic Necklace - 1972

Eugene Bertolli designs for Napier costume jewelry captured an artistic element that made each piece a small piece of wearable art.

Made in 1970 era as part of the "Endangered Species Series", this vintage Napier piece is a cross between Brutalist and abstract design.

Celebrating the Elephant, the necklace highlights the plight of our need authentic for animal conservation.

Highly detailed silver plate trees are intertwined as the stage for the beautifully sculpted gold plated elephant. The intricate styling of the elephant is amazing. There is one single small red rhinestone set as his eye

The gold tone chain completes the loveliness of the vintage piece.

Condition is good. The chain has plate loss, as does the elephant's ear.

The Napier mark is located on the back of the pendant.

Measurements - clasp, the necklace measures 11 3/4 inches.
