These arrow shapes are braided into the hair, or put into a headdress, or into a authentic ncecklace, etc., for women dancing the Guedra, or Blue Women dance, and in many other circumstances. They are often made into the shape of arrows, but in this case and frequently, the arrows are not pointy, so that they may not really be made to represent arrows. These are quite large and made of very pretty carnelian agate, very hard.
