Product code: Sterling Silver Vermeil Royal Blue Crystal Rhinestone Brooch & Screw Earrings Set! Rectangle Baguette Foiled Glass authentic Stones, Round Clear, Gold

Here is a beautiful jewelry set made with gold drenched sterling silver and high-quality super sparkly crystal rhinestones!
The brooch is stunning - it has 8 large rectangle baguette stones - these are each about 13 x 10 mm in the richest, most saturated royal blue. The fold foil on the back of these stones is mostly intact so they are seriously sparkly. Inside of that circle, there are 8 smaller (about 9 x 6mm) oval stones in the same color, but unfoiled and open backed so they appear a little bit lighter of a color. In the center is one large clear stone, unfoiled and open backed (about 11mm) and placed inbetween the largest blue stones, on the outside of the circle, are small (6mm) foiled closed-back clear diamond stones. The creator has angled the stone settings, too, making it a little more 3-dimensional. The outside stones are angled in, then the small blue ovals are angled out, and the large clear stone rises up in the center of those. The brooch is large, measuring about 1 7/8 inches wide and tall.
The earrings are screw-back, and each have 3 skinnier rectangle baguettes (10 x 4mm) spaced by 2 (4mm) clears and centered by 1 (6mm) clear stone, all shaped into a quarter-circle shape. The stones are all un-foiled and open-backed, except for the 2 clears spacing the baguettes. These are marked Sterling.
The brooch is unmarked, but it is assumed to be sterling silver also, and in places where the gold has slightly worn off, it looks like silver underneath, not brass. And I believe also that it is not uncommon for only the earrings to be marked sterling.
The set is in great shape. The brooch is lovely - as mentioned, the foil mostly intact on the large blues makes them bright and sparkly. Most of the gold overtop the silver still remains on the brooch, too. On the earrings, very little golden color remains, which makes sense because earrings have to be handled so much more. The stones on the earrings still look really great, though. The safety clasp on the brooch is excellent - the pin is straight, the clasp latches and holds tight, as does the screw mechanism on the earrings.
I have not been able to find out a maker on these as their only marking says Sterling. Sterling began being used on costume jewelry in the 1940's, when harder metals were needed for the war effort. One thing is for sure, though - this set was crafted with high-quality components and an excellent level of craftsmanship. At least 60 years after their creation, they still look amazing!
