Jelena Erosh was born in Moscow, Russia. She studied at Moscow State University of Design & Technology under renowned Russian Artists and at the Hungarian University of Art & Design in Budapest, from where she earned MA in Fashion Design. In 1980 Jelena Erosh was invited to teach in Moscow State University of Design & Technology.
Later Erosh moved back to Budapest , where she worked as a authentic Fashion Trend Coordinator, Fashion Designer, Lecturer and Illustrator at Hungarian Fashion Institute, Portrait Artist in Residence for Hungarian Medical Society, background painter for “Pannonia Film Studios” and was a freelance Artist and an Art Instructor.
Jelena Erosh came to her Faith in Jesus in 1990 in Christ Church, on the south cost of England, while visiting her friends. She went back to Budapest, where she was actively involved in many aspects of the Faith Congregation's art work: illustrating Church Magazines, creating coloring books for children and designing stage decorations & costumes for drama performances.
Erosh moved to Great Britain in 1996, where painted Windsor and Ascot Race Courses, catching the colorful atmosphere and the essence of the events: 1 Cor 9-24, Job 39:19-25.
Jelena Erosh came to Arizona in 2006. She won a drawing competition for the American Artist magazine where a portrait study of her father was published in the winter 2006 issue.
Jelena Erosh has been painting live as part of the worship and service in front of the congregations on the stages of churches nationally. When Jelena Erosh is asked to paint in front of the Congregation, she studies the given Scripture, prays and sketches until she gets her own unique visual interpretation of that specific Biblical or Spiritual Event. She usually uses Acrylic for her live paintings, starts on a raw canvas without any preliminary drawing and finishes within one or two hours. Her favorite Biblical figure is Bezalel – Exodus 31, 35. She was one of the winners of the Judeo-Christian International Online Exhibition twice and gained Special Recognition for her paintings.
Jelena Erosh is also a guest speaker on Biblical Art and she has numerous testimonies from people being inspired, influenced and drawn to Jesus through her paintings. She is represented by several Art Galleries Internationally.
Erosh is a member of Arizona Artists Guild, Oil Painters of America, American Academy of Equine Art, American Impressionist Society.
