Handmade from upcycled wool sweaters

This poncho is made of various soft cashmere, mixed wool and angora blend pieces

**All the wool was pre-washed before the sweaters were cut up**

9 inch squares were sewn together using a color palette of pink, maroon white and beige

The ribbed crew neck was sewn in place with a finish stitch

Decorative mismatched buttons were added to the front

The edges of the poncho are also sewn in a finish stitch to prevent raveling

This measures 32" long from neckline authentic to front point

It weighs about 1 pound and is perfect for spring/fall outerwear or wear indoors as a sweater for colder weather

Finished size is 45" and is best suited for a small to medium size woman

~~ Because I use several different sweaters cut along varying grains, I do not recommend machine washing my ponchos, as some squares may wash up differently than others. I would suggest professional dry cleaning or using an in-home dry cleaning kit. Or, hand wash and toss in dryer on low for a few minutes to get the wrinkles out, then air dry. You can use an iron set to "wool" if needed.~~
