This decorative Key has 2 different stories told to us by the owner. First, that it hung for a few years in the window of a locksmith shop. Secondly, that it was given as a “key to the city” at one point. We have no idea if either of these stories are true we do know that it's been in the same collection for at least 40 years. This thing is heavy and solid, cast metal that was painted black. The key measures 16 inches long & just over 7 inches wide. It is in very good condition with minor paint wear and scratches (please see photos).
SHIPPING INFORMATION: We usually ship in 2-3 days of getting a cleared payment. Tracking is included in our shipping price. If the shipping turns out to be cheaper than what we quoted you... we will refund the difference over $1. We also offer free local pick-up... in most situations. Please ask about this if you are interested. We ship almost exclusively through the USPS, since they seem to have the best rates. If you need another shipping company, please let us know.

In the case of Import Duties, Taxes and Surcharges... these are NOT included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
We will not authentic mark "gift" on the customs form, so please do not ask us to.
We will try to find you the cheapest shipping that still has tracking information, but sometimes these estimates are high. It is not unusual for us to have to refund some shipping due to these high estimates.
