authentic This sterling silver candle scribe is made with a hammered texture and traditional blacksmith twist. I use a special technique to ensure the corners stay square while twisting. Polished to a high shine, this candle scribe makes a stylish addition to your altar or workspace.

Made from 3mm square silver stock, this scribe is hand-forged to create the taper and point. Forging the point makes it much harder and stronger than the generally employed method of filing metal away. The silver is tapered and extended 150% - meaning that the 10cm blank is drawn out by half of its original length, resulting in a 15cm final length.

Since each item is entirely handmade to order, there is no stock awaiting purchase. Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for this item to be made and hallmarked, then sent directly to you. In times of high volume (such as Yule and "Valentine's"), there can be a significant wait for hallmarking. Please bear this in mind if ordering for either of these holidays.
