Gorgeous Victorian style lamp base showcasing a tea scene with a woman serving a seated man at the table. The colors are vivid and the piece features gilded trim. The lamp is ceramic and the serving pieces on the table appear to be metal. This piece is from the the 40s or earlier and is in remarkably good condition considering its age. There is a small chip authentic on the man's dangling hand(barely noticeable) and some teeny flea bites on the greenery. Some paint wear. Needs a socket and wiring - there is a brass mounting for socket hardware. A very unique and solid piece made in Germany.
