Another benefit of our boards is that each one has a storage compartment built into the base of the horn where 4 handmade antler pegs are stored. Our antler pegs are exclusive to 406 Antlery, as they are no simple task to make and the process is painstaking. Sanding down antler into about 1 inch pieces that are smooth and wont break takes considerable time.
The beauty of our antler work is that no two pieces will ever be the exact same. Antler is unique in texture and color so every piece we make will have a one of a kind appearance. This is due to Deer and Elk shedding their antler every year. Even a matching set of antlers will almost never be identical.
