This is a rare tall Ball Mason jar from approximately the 1920s. You don't come across these old Ball jars in this size much any longer! There are no cracks but it does have what appears to be a manufacturing "chip-looking" mark in the upper rim, which I circled for you, but it is within the glass from what I can make of it and it is smooth to the authentic touch. There is also a very tiny little piece of oxidation on the glass from the zinc metal lid that I circled as well. There are your typical bubbles in the glass from manufacturing and some surface scratches around the whole jar from use and time. The zinc lid has some rusting to its top and inner lid as well as some oxidation to the metal. This is a great sized jar that would work perfectly for a long stemmed bouquet of flowers!
