PAIR OF (2) vintage (1930s) Alfred Meakin Dronfield bread-and-butter, dessert or side plates made in England.

Very hard to find, these plates are in overall VERY GOOD! condition. One of the two plates has a spot of browning to the front surface. Otherwise, there are NO! marks or stains. Plates have NO! chips, authentic nicks, cracks, or fleabites and show only MINIMAL! wear to the gold edge. The pink and yellow florals, with pops of blue, are bright and vivid with NO! fading apparent. Pieces show age-appropriate crazing front and back.

Approximate measurements: 6-1/4" in diameter with a gold edge.
