Basket Purse authentic with leather Antique dated

We have a Basket Purse with leather Antique dated 1898 on the bottom. It measures about 6" in w x about 3 1/2" in h on the basket/4 3/4" from the top center handle (leather) to the bottom of the basket authentic. There is a metal turn on the front to open it which is also secured on a leather base and flap. The hinges on the back are made from basket material. The bottom front right side to half way around the side is missing the finish molding - this is missing on about 1/3 of the purse bottom. There is some light wear showing on the leather handle and front leather piece as I tried to show in my photo's. Overall for it's age this is in nice condition.
