Vintage 1940s Vogue Couturier authentic Design Pattern 271 Geometric Lapped Seam Dress & Jacket Bust 34

Vogue Couturier Pattern 271 is an exquisite vintage 1940s sewing pattern for a daringly modern dress and jacket design. The dress has bracelet length sleeves cut in one with the bodice, a three piece skirt with side gathers, and center seam detail leading the eye to the geometric lapped seam treatment at the bust and neckline which is echoed in the styling of the fitted jacket, with a front button closing, long sleeves cut in one with the bodice, and a high collarless neckline.

Printed circa 1945, the envelope is worn, with pencil notation, a faded shop stamp, creasing, tanning, and edge wear. The pattern has areas of damage (pictured) which occur within the body of the piece and not the cutting area, and the pre-cut, unprinted pattern is complete, with instructions and sew-in label included. Measurements are given as:
