The handle of this wand is made of pink Pao wood (Swartzia fistuloides), has a consistency similar to rosewood. While sapwood is rather yellowish to yellowish-white, heartwood has a red-brown striated color. Wood is used for high-quality furniture, in turning and building musical instruments.

The body, on the other hand, is made of mahogany wood, with a natural color. The central ring is made of aluminum.

The wand is finished with carnauba wax, which is obtained from the leaves of a palm tree collected during the arid season when they are still closed and wrapped in a thin layer of wax. Finally polished with shellac, a natural resin.
