A fun piece to welcome in spring- It is one of a kind, handmade and designed by myself.
The piece to the edges of the zinc came measures approximately 10 3/4" tall x a little under 6" across. It displays best with light behind, but does great hanging on a wall as well. The tulip has a red iridescent tip for one little accent of color. Different types of clear glass have been used to bring this piece to life. It is very dynamic and comes alive in a little bit of sunshine. The waterglass used for the authentic flower petals 'dance' in different lighting.
The piece has been made using the copper foil technique. Patina has been applied to both the zinc and the solder for a deeper tone to the metals.
