Product code: Vintage Glass Plate Garden Totem/Sculpture/Plant authentic Stake...Three Times A Lady

Sweet and romantic, and oh so lady-like! A super addition to any container garden!

This totem is made from four distinct vintage glass items:

*one 5 1/2" clear crystal vase
*one 4 1/2" green depression glass dish (you will find a manufacturing flaw within the glass itself that is a darker green, in the back, but does not detract from the beauty of the piece)....very cool art-deco edge
*one 5 3/4" pink swirl patterened depression glass saucer
*one 2 3/4" tall rose patterned sauce pitcher with gold-gilded edges.

Overall piece is approximately 8-10" tall.

There are no chips or cracks on the pieces in this totem.

Alternative uses:
*makes a sweet centerpiece for a garden party or shower, and serve mints or candies from the pitcher, or add some fresh baby's breath or other flowers

Each garden flower and totem is adhered together with a high-strength epoxy resin adhesive that is water-, weather-, and solvent-resistant, and is able to fill voids and uneven surfaces. However, to increase the longevity and enjoyment of your investment, and due to the authentic nature of glass itself, I recommend taking your piece(s) in during winters (you need something cheerful during the winter!) that are harsh and tend to have freezing and below freezing temperatures and other harsh weather that may occur during the year. Though the adhesive advertises it is temperature resistant from -10 to over 100 degrees, bring your piece indoors when temperatures dip below 40 degrees (nothing like personal experience as the best teacher!). You'll want to care for your garden art as you would any cherished item, with love. Handwash only.

Attached to the inside of the bud base is a 5/8" coupling nut. You will want to purchase a separate 5/8" threaded metal rod (as shown in the photo) to support your garden flower. The threaded rods help to ensure that the flowers do not shift on their support stake. I do not ship the threaded rods; they are inexpensive ($2-$3) at your local hardware store and would be more expensive to ship than to purchase on your own separately, and this way, you can also choose your own type of support stake as well as the length. The price of each garden flower or totem is representative of the cost of the individual pieces of glassware used to create the artful pieces.

To add the flower to your garden, insert the threaded rod into the ground (a hammer helps!), screw your flower to the rod (via the coupling nut), and enjoy! (**My note: it works a little better for me to hammer the rod into the ground, remove it, then screw the rod into the coupling nut, and reinsert the rod with the flower attached. There's less chance of dropping the flower this way.) If you find it hard to screw the pieces together, some type of lubricant may help.

Due to the nature of these pieces, I do not combine shipping of items. I want them to arrive to you safely, and definitely in one piece!! You'll find something for every style, taste and budget. Keep watching for new postings! Shipping cost is approximate; shipping is based on weight, and I do not make money on shipping. If there is an overage that has been paid on shipping, I will refund the difference. Please convo me for more shipping options/more accurate rates.
