authentic Timothy Percival the Ghost Boy by Kelly
Timothy is a sweet fellow... for a ghost. You might see him from the corner of your eye, peeping around the doorframe, or sitting on top of the cupboards. He is from the 1700s, but is fascinated by watching our modern life... with its curious objects and 'magical' powers. Sometimes he takes them to play with for a while, but he always puts them back... just necessarily where you first put them!
Timothy is from a collection of cloth and clay dolls, a cloth jointed body with clay face. Their style is more primitive, I wanted to create a creepy cute doll collection using a lot of upcycled and recycled fabrics and trims, wools and embellishments. I have a vast collection of vintage fabrics and these dolls are perfect for using those that I have collected over decades.
He has an outfit of lovely soft cream and fresh mint green, frock coat, flouncy shirt, pantaloons, tights, shoes and stock scarf. His hair is wool... white with golden yellow streaks; his face pale and with a cheeky grin and naughty button eye! I also sculpted a small candle that he has hanging from his belt... perfect for lighting his way in the dark.
