authentic "Lemons and Limes with Depression Glass"
Honestly, this painting makes me want to whip up these lemons and limes into a citrus sorbet. And because of the old timey effect of the green depression glass and worn wood, my grandmother's delicious coconut layer cake topped with lemon zest also comes to mind. Either way, this is a yummy painting!

Sharon Egan received her BFA from Penn State University and continues her education at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She prefers painting from life, specializing in still life in her studio. Whenever possible, Sharon loves to paint en plien air, especially marshes, beaches and sunsets.
Ms. Egan has received numerous awards for her work and is delighted to have her work in collections around the world. She is currently represented in the Eastern Regional Exhibition of Oil Painters of America. Ms. Egan taught as a continuing education instructor at Bucks County Community College and as a workshop instructor at The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. She offers private instruction in Philadelphia.
She paints daily, in the company of her studio companions, Olive, a poodle mix rescue, and Junebug, her mischievous cat.
Ms Egan is a member of Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society. She shows work at Art on Asbury in Ocean City, NJ.
