1863 Natural Laws of Husbandry, Antique Leatherbound authentic Book, 19th Century Book in Full Leather Binding
authentic “The Natural Laws of Husbandry” by Justus von Liebig. Edited by John Blyth. Published by D. Appleton & Company, New York: 1863. All three page edges marbled with fine matching marbled end papers.
A scarce 19th Century work on husbandry (the cultivation and breeding of crops) in its original full leather binding. Raised and gilt-stamped bands separate the spine into six sections, with the title and author information stamped in gilt over a black leather insert in section two from the top. Elaborate gilt-stamped decorations adorn the remaining sections.
Size:
Approx. 5-1/2" over by 8" tall
Condition:
Very good for age. Minor wear to the corners of the cover boards, as well as to the spine ends (primarily the bottom end). The binding remains sound and the interior pages are generally clean and unmarked throughout.
