Vintage USSR Matryoshka Nesting Dolls Style Wooden Chess Set with Board Case The board/carrying case looks brand new but the paint is chipping off all of the pieces but mainly the orange pieces. We believe this happened because the pieces were loose in the case and were hitting each other as well as the inside of the case. Box has a little bit of damage due to storage. Even with the damage, authentic it's still a nice set. Board is approximately 12.5" x 12.5" x 1" when fully opened and 12.5" X 6.5" X 2" when closed.
