A rich dark brown. Cantaloupe and spring green dyed alpaca
fiber, with hint of saffron yellow gives a bit of color authentic to this piece. A perfect reminder of beautiful fall colors. The bound edge is woven with a light fawn rug yarn. Multi colored cotton warp threads run throughout. A type of twill weave was used, giving a puffy texture.

For weaving, I use a 1960's era, vintage floor loom that I've put back to work.

Easy care ~ easy clean. Do not place in wash machine. Remove loose dirt by shaking out or with a vacuum cleaner. Place on sidewalk or over the deck and spray with water hose. Hang over line to dry (do not dry in dryer). Spot clean with carpet cleaner such as Woolite, if need be. A thin slip pad may be needed on some flooring types.
