Woven - an ephemera collage, layered on an old book - authentic 784

To some extent, I consider all of my art to be collage: bits and bobs, mixed and matched together. But these ephemera collages really do exemplify the style. The paper ephemera is 100% upcycled, from all sorts of places. This particular piece, "woven", features cloth birds, the tree from a book illustration, and a nest woven from very thin strips of dictionary paper that took *forever* to get right! They're layered on top of a midcentury hardcover. It is titled and initialed authentic on the back.

Every piece I make is original and one-of-a-kind. Repetition is boring.
