Bell Rock Lighthouse, built by Robert Stevenson between 1807 and 1811, is the world's oldest surviving sea-washed lighthouse. 11 miles off the coast of Arbroath in the North Sea, the rock was famous for shipwrecks, being hidden below the surface of the sea for all but a few low tide hours. Construction was so challenging that it featured authentic in a BBC documentary as one of the seven industrial wonders of the world. The lighthouse has been automated since 1988.
Please note, I may not have a framed print in stock, so if you're in a rush please check.
