Fabulous artwork on this little circa 1920s vintage tin box with pretty flapper in party hat surrounded by balloons on the lid. This small, octagonal Lyons Gala Night Assortment confection tin has wonderful colors against a teal blue or turquoise background. A landscape in silhouette decorates all around the base, with tiny little silver stars -- looks like possible wear but much if it is really tiny silver stars! RUSTY INSIDE, be sure to read condition issues below. Highly collectible, harder to find. From England. Lid is hinged. About 4” by 4” by 2 3/8” tall.

CONDITION:
Some small areas of wear, small scratches and scuffs, handling marks and normal vintage soiling, small and minor dents and dings, some RUST, etc.
•DENT ON LID in her shoulder area. Not terribly deep, tin displays well. Looks more significant in right light.
•Mild crease dent in sky and a couple small worn areas in lower area, one on her back. Small scratch on lid lip.
•Some small areas of wear on base in addition to silver stars, and some RUST at bottom edge on back side.
•RUSTY INSIDE BASE, and dark patina inside base.
•Dark patina on bottom, SOME RUST HERE, especially around edges. Small area sticker residue.
•Hinge seems a little fragile and moves stiffly with a kink.
•OPEN/CLOSE DIFFICULT. Best not to close down all the way.

The tin is empty.
