Most used, vintage cast iron skillets do not authentic sit exactly flat. Due to the casting process, a design that was intended for the stove tops that existed in their time, cast iron skillets generally do not afford 100% surface contact for glass stoves. Buyers should be aware of this in their choice of skillets.

A skillet, unless badly warped by fire cleaning, overheating on a coal or wood stove will have full utility on gas grate or electric element stove tops. Glass stove tops owners should be cautious of this. It is common that a vintage or antique cast iron skillet will not sit "Exactly Flat".

I have removed the old seasoning, it is restored to bare metal and seasoned 1x.

As with any restored vintage cast iron there maybe minor casting flaws, use marks, slight utensil marks, scratches or carbon staining that will resolve with additional seasoning, which is always recommended.
