These pagan prayer beads have been handcrafted with Hecate, Goddess of witchcraft in mind. Goddess of wild places, she is closely associated with magic.

This strand is 21.5" (54cm) long and has been handcrafted with lilac quartz, aquamarine gemstones, cats eye gemstones, topaz Czech crystals, opalite, Swarovski crystals and wooden beads.

Various charms are interspersed throughout the stones to represent Hekate: a cauldron, book of shadows, a leaf, a crystal ball and a key. Nature's wild leaves and flowers also appear throughout the strand.

Lilac Quartz has been chosen for healing and energy amplification. It is thought to absorb, store, release and regulate energy and be excellent for unblocking it.

Aquamarine has been chosen as a calming and soothing stone, said to bring great peace and serenity. It is thought to bring truth and trust, authentic opening the channels of clear and heartfelt communication.

Cat's Eye has been chosen as a grounding stone thought to bring confidence, happiness, serenity and good luck.

Pagan prayer beads or witches ladders are used for meditation, spell casting and focusing spiritual energies.

My design here holds 40 beads divided by the numbers 3, 7, 9 and 21 - numbers I've chosen for their magickal and spiritual significance.

All of my pagan prayer beads are highly tactile - they are made with smooth, cool gemstones, textured metal filigrees, shiny glazed ceramics and hard antiqued silver.

You will find that certain colours and themes resonate the strongest with you - if you follow your instincts you will be drawn to the right pieces for you.

ABOUT THE SECRET CHARM
I am a Self Representing Artist in Jewellery Design (SRAJD #4067) living by the sea in the Highlands of Scotland, drawing inspiration from my beautiful surroundings, the nature within it, and from the many fascinating myths and legends of Celtic folklore.
