This photographic Big Sable Point Lighthouse is located about 1.6 miles north of Ludington Michigan on Lake Michigan beach. I remember well the walk there since I carried a studio camera,a 35 mm, several lens and a heavy duty tripod. This is the last beacon seen by ships veering farther from shore heading to Port Chicago.
