Pitcher And Bowl authentic / Vintage Pitcher And Basin / Sponged Stoneware Pitcher And Bowl / Robinson And Ransbottom Pottery Company Roseville Ohio

This vintage Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. spongeware stoneware pitcher and basin/bowl set was found at a local Western Pennsylvania estate sale. It is unusual because it is heavily sponged. It is sponged blue over a cream glaze. The cream glaze resembles an antique stoneware; however it was probably made during the 1960's. A substantial weight st 5 lbs. The bottom of each piece is marked: RRPCO, Roseville, Ohio.

Condition: very good. All the sponged blue is done by hand, which was normal when these pieces were made. It also has a heavy gloss glaze.

Measurements: The set is 9" tall with the pitcher in the bowl. The bowl is 11.5" across the top and 4.5" across the bottom authentic and the bowl is 3" tall. LRPbt
