VICTORINE - Belt authentic Restriction Textile 1940s French - Ventral and Lacing Piece - Sky Blue Crepe, Hand Embroidered Flowers - XS

Madame George is a French brand based in Toulouse, born from a passion for fashion in the 1940s.
We offer items directly inspired by French fashion from about 1938 to 1946, mostly reproduced from period models from our personal collection.
All our items are made in a totally artisanal way, with finishes and embroidery by hand, and using a maximum of materials and techniques of the period.


DESCRIPTION:
The belt model "VICTORINE" is directly inspired by a belt from the period of textile restriction.
Belt with ventral part and lacing closure at the front. Art Deco style very representative of the models of the 40s in vogue in France at the time.
This piece is made of sky blue crepe (coupon coming from my Grandmother), with sky blue carnations and light gray lace. The two front parts are decorated with fleurettes embroidered by hand with DMC thread, in light grey and mustard yellow.


WARNING: some shades, such as shades of red, pink, green or purple, are very difficult to photograph! I do my best to make the colors as close as possible to reality in my descriptions and photos. However, do not forget that the hues can also vary from one screen to another! Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any doubt.
