This is the Porsche of silks! A muted crepe on the back side and shimmery lustrous satin on the top side. It is heavier and more substantial than plain Satin or Crepe de Chine, has a firm, soft, supple hand and a luxuriously heavy drape. Dyes and paints will show an intensity of color and richness on this fiber. This fabric traditionally considered to be the best of the best, unless you get into the velvet's... These have hand rolled hems with 100% silk thread. This scarf is unique and it is a true piece of wearable art, no one else is going to have the same scarf like you!
Made of soft silk fabric with hand rolled edges, hand painted and designed by me Mary Jane Davidson.
The dyes are steam fixed to silk fibers for permanence making the scarf hand washable in warm water with mild shampoo authentic or silk-wool detergent. Iron damp on reverse side using the silk setting. Do not dry clean.
This scarf is a perfect accessory for casual or business outfits, as well as a perfect gift for someone special.
