Wood authentic Fired Tea Bowl

This is a lovely tea bowl that was wood fired in the East Creek Anagama, a 40 foot anagama wood kiln in the heart of the coastal mountains of Oregon. All of the colors are from how the flame of the fire moves around the piece, and the wood ash that lands on the piece and melts in the firing, producing that glassy surface. This was such a delight to see come out of the kiln. This piece has a lot of beautifully melted wood ash on it that melted to a nice translucent and forest green color. It is a great addition to a tea bowl or cup collection or just for ritual use! It is a perfect tea bowl to enjoy any type of tea. The energy of the forest lives in this piece! authentic
