Style is called “pikbil” a white on green yellow, orange gauze-like weave of fine 100% cotton thread traditional to my village in Guatemala Coban Alta Verapaz. Using the painstaking “pik'bil “weaving technique that has been passed down through generations ,The delicate motifs on this table runner are achieved by carefully lifting each thread in the desired shape during the weaving process. Design pattern full of different types of patterns shape ,pacaya leaves. It is woven on a traditional Mayan back-strap loom.Very few woman are left who can create this delicate weave. it's very soft to wear it.
