This is a silver plated and enameled copper wire tree on what appears to be a fossilized gourd with calcite crystals inside. Each tree is made by hand and is specifically matched to the base rock. It will sometimes take me two or three trees to find the one that matches a specific base rock or branch... although those other trees usually find their own bases pretty quickly. I love seeing old trees which have carved out their existence on the sides of cliffs and canyons, or the banks of washes, and I keep those images in mind when I create a tree and look for the base that works best with it. All bases are either natural rock (polished or unpolished with a coat of ProtectaClear resin) or natural wood with a coating of epoxy. All pieces are one of a kind. While I may be able to use similar materials, with similar bases, there will never be two trees which come out alike, just as in nature.
This piece is approximately 10 inches tall, 11 inches wide, and 7 inches deep. Over 300 feet of silver plated and enameled copper wire make up the tree.

Wire trees must be shipped carefully, double boxed and ziptied to the bottom so that the base cannot authentic crush the tree. When you receive your tree, open it carefully.
