Jackie Klunk's Stone Bridge Designs has been creating handcrafted chalkware figures from antique and antique reproduction chocolate moulds since 1988. This handsome rabbit stands with his tiny chick buddy on a meadow of spring flowers. He wears a navy overcoat with grey stripes. The piece stands 5 x 9.95 inches tall.
Each chalkware piece is handcrafted using a special artist chalk recipe, is painted using acrylic paints, and finished with an antiquing glaze, as well as a satin varnish to protect the piece. It is signed and dated, and the bottom is covered with a felt base to protect the base from chipping.
