French Vintage Oyster platter Serving dish, large seafood dish Sarreguemines Barbotine mustard sandy and black 1960's rustic authentic country kitchen

A Large French vintage Oyster serving platter in warm mustard/sand and black colored ceramic, with a central space for the lemon slices. Made by the famous Faience designers "Sarreguemines" and marked on the underside, with the maker's mark. (I also have the smaller matching individual size plates available in a separate listing). Combined shipping discounts are possible.

This is the larger serving size. The plate is subtle in it's coloring, hand glazed and each one varies slightly due to the glazing processes involved.

Stunning condition, vibrant and shiny, in fantastic authentic condition throughout for it's age, it looks virtually unused, no nibbles, stains or chips at all. Even the base on the underside is still shiny. A rare find. Marked on the underside with the maker's mark "Sarreguemines".
