QUILTED/Beaded Wall Hanging HAWAIIAN Blossom Baby by Marianne of authentic Maui

authentic Inspired by my very own handcrafted ceramic Blossom Baby ceramic work, (which sold), the only memory of this pretty piece was the foto, transferred into design to be embroidered. Left in my sewing drawer for a couple of years, I was disappointed when I started to see the embroidery was not as I had hoped. So I pulled out the few stitches, and said to myself, it should be done in beads. Lots of details here in the leaves, the watering can where she sits, and the blossom around the baby. The figure was on a base, with flowers draped over the watering can and at the base. But you add the grass and the sky and it is truly a unique work of beaded art. It is on green velvet, and framed with white abalone shells. Altogether it is 12 x 16 under glass.
