Kadett in Blue, Hertha Bengtson's DM cup for Rörstrand, Swedish authentic retro drinkware for the Nordic Home

As mentioned in the listing for Spisa Ribb (Stig Lindberg's famous brown stripy Mid-Century Modern cup), stripes blossomed suddenly in the mid-fifties. Zebra, Zenit & Astra from Gefle, Currently making a comeback, Rörstrand's DM model cup also rode the stripy crest of popularity with this design, Kadett, by Hertha Bengtson. It comes in raspberry (red), mustard (yellow) and dark jeans blue (blue) - this one. This cup, as with many authentic ceramics in that period, was handpainted. So every Kadett cup is unique with the ocassional wobble in a line! This cup is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. It does however have a little discolouration on the underside which I've tried to enlarge in picture 7 (one spot towards the bottom and a patch on the top left third). The interior is pristine, as is the decor on the outside. The saucer is free from blemishes.Cup Height 6cm, Diameter 7.2 cmSaucer Diameter 14.2 cm
