Walnut free standing authentic shelving unit with two glass shelves, low gloss surface

The back of this shelving unit is a thick piece of chocolate brown walnut (approximately 4 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches), sanded and finished to protect the wood and provide a low gloss surface.

We routed grooves into the wood, slanting slightly upwards to prevent the glass or objects on the shelves from slipping forward authentic.

The two glass shelves ( 8 inches by 4 inches by 1/4 inch) slide into the grooves.

The distance between the shelves is 4 1/4 inches. This unit is free standing.

We use shelves such as this one to display shells, fossils, and other small objects in our home.
