Please note that I indicate that dispatch is within 1-2 weeks usually. Even though I take around 4-5 days to complete a tray. I take my time in the drying process and paint it minimum two coats. I also give myself time for mishaps. When I work on my trays I always treat the indentations on the wood and make it perfect before I begin my work. It is so important to me that the trays leave my studio near to perfection but as you know as it's handmade, it would never be 100% perfect like it was cut and made by a machine or a robot.

This tray is suitable for day and night but certainly any event, serving champagne, wine or cocktails. The choice is yours. Or a special occasion with a pot of tea and a special plate full of cakes and sweets. It will certainly impress whoever you're serving.

Also it's such a versatile tray that you can use it as a breakfast tray or any occasion tray authentic. It's quite an unusual tray that will have all your friends envious. It's on trend at the moment where everyone is going mad about William Morris the amazing textile designer from the 1800's. It can also be the centre focal point of your living room to use for your magazines and remote controls on your pouf or coffee table, the choice is yours. The Tissue Paper Box compliments the tray where ever you place it. It's absolutely gorgeous.

Please note that all my trays are made of solid wood. It can withstand any weight. The tray is decoupaged but of course varnished over 3-4 times, so that no colour runs on your bedding or sofas or the kitchen counter. You can rest assured that nothing will ruin this tray unless you wash it or soak it but you can certainly use a damp cloth or a wipe to disinfect it and clean it but please be gentle.

I painted the base with gold acrylic paint and added the paper and then varnished it several times.
